COMPETITIONS

Entry is open only to persons 18 years and over, who are residents of VICTORIA and have not won a competition, prize or promotional item, through The Life and Love Studio in the last 12 months.

To enter, completed entry form must be received at the studio by the end of the promotion date. Late entries will not be accepted. Entry forms not properly completed will be rejected. Entrants may only enter once - duplicate entries will not be accepted. Prize winners will be notified by mail, email or phone. The major prize winner will be the first valid entry drawn on the day of the draw. First Prizes are valid for a period of 3 months from the date of draw. Consolation Prizes will have an expiry date printed on the notification letter and or Prize Certificate/Card. Prizes are for domestic portraiture and can not be used for commercial purposes. Prizes are non transferable, not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

COMPLETE FAMILY PORTRAIT POLICY

At The Life and Love Studio, we believe in capturing the essence of your entire family during a Family Portrait Session. For this reason, we only work with complete family units and do not offer sessions for partial groups. If a family member is missing, we reserve the right to reschedule your session. Our priority is creating a timeless family portrait for you. During your shoot we also aim to capture a variety of combinations of everyone involved.

APPOINTMENT HOLDING RETAINER

A holding retainer of $50 will be required to secure and hold your session time. This holding retainer ensures your commitment to the scheduled session. The holding retainer will be returned to you at the presentation of your portraits at your Viewing Session, if you have completed your session at the correctly scheduled time and date. Failure to attend or complete your scheduled session may result in the cancellation of any prize and the forfeiture of the holding retainer.

GIFT CERTIFICATE / PROMOTIONAL VOUCHERS

Must be redeemed by the holder prior to the expiry date, provided the holder has not redeemed a Competition Prize, Gift Certificate or Promotional Voucher with The Life and Love Studio in the last 6 months (date calculated from the previous sitting date). Prizes are for private portraiture and can not be used for commercial purposes.

TRANSFERABILITY

Promotional Vouchers and Gift Certificates ARE transferable to family or friends. They are not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. The vouchers and gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, prize or promotion. Only one (1) Gift Certificate or Promotional voucher/certificate can be used at a time. You cannot use the gift certificate or promotional voucher to purchase products from a previous portrait session. Prizes are non transferable, not exchangeable or redeemable in whole or in part for any cash equivalent. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

FACEBOOK COMPETITIONS

By entering our Facebook competition, the entrant acknowledges that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with, Facebook in any way.

ARTISTIC CONTROL

The Life and Love Studio reserves full artistic control over the design and content of each portrait session. We may, at our discretion, decline to create certain types or styles of portraiture. Clients should discuss their requirements with the studio prior to the portrait session.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE

The Life and Love Studio reserves the right to refuse service if in our opinion the provision of service is likely to cause or has caused disruption to either staff members or the normal operation of business.

NON ATTENDANCE POLICY

Non attendance at an appointment without notice, will result in the forfeiture of the holding retainer. The Gift Certificate or Promotional Voucher is then deemed to have been used in full.

COPYRIGHT

Unrestricted Copyright to all images created during the portrait session that forms part of the Gift Certificate or Promotional Voucher or Referral Voucher is deemed to belong solely to The Life and Love Studio.

PRIVACY

By commissioning The Life and Love Studio to create images or by entering any promotion or competition, clients and/or entrants understand and agree that The Life and Love Studio may use the information provided by them in accordance with National Privacy Laws. http://www.privacy.gov.au

RESCHEDULE POLICY

In the event that you find yourself unable to make it to your scheduled session, we kindly request a minimum of 7 days advance notice. This ensures that you won't lose your holding retainer.

As a small, family-owned business, our portrait session slots are limited. Your cooperation in providing us with a 7 day notice period enables us to potentially fill that time with another booking. Otherwise, we regretfully lose the opportunity. Your understanding and consideration are greatly appreciated.

We understand that unforeseen situations like children falling ill or emergencies can arise. In such cases, we're committed to working with you to identify an alternative date that suits your schedule. Should you need to reschedule due to illness or emergencies, your initial holding retainer will be transferred to the newly selected date.

CANCELLATIONS

Should you decide to cancel your session within 72 hours of reserving the date and paying the $50 holding retainer, you will be eligible for a complete refund of the holding retainer. Following this period, any cancellations will result in forfeiture of the holding retainer, which will be transformed into studio credit. This credit will remain valid for one year and can be used for artwork purchases within our studio.
